Sculptural and Miscellaneous

Oak Obelisk

This is still one of my favourite decor pieces that I have made. The oak was reclaimed from Kettlewell in N.Yorkshire from an old barn, you could barely see the actual wood because the pile it was had about 2"of moss covering it. I got it back to the workshop and I think you will agree, it kind of scrubbed up well; I had a base made up at my local engineering firm and hey presto we have a very lovely natural sculptural piece. This would look fantastic in any setting inside or in the garden, it stands at 6'5" and the base circufrence is 15". The oak is at least 300 years old. The price is £425 plus shipping costs.

French Oak Towel Rail

This towel rail has been made from a hay rack that I reclaimed from a barn conversion in central France in a tiny hamlet called Chaum near Limousine. The barn and its out buildings dated back over three hundred years and there were lots of wonderful things there that were re-used, my own bed is made from the cattle feeding trough oak from the same place. the size of this rail is 4' 9"x33"x5", it has been fully treated. There are two more sections that are 6' in length which are available, they will make great bed heads. £315 plus shipping.
